True stroke paths in basic vector

Please improve the basic vector style so that (at least the black and white line art style) is formed by editable stroke paths (curves), not expanded into merged shapes or compound paths.

Yes! I would love to have this available as well (editable stroke/generate stroke). It would make icons much more functional.
